For twenty years, The Craftsman's Touch has been Vancouver's leading restoration firm, specializing in household damage claims for international, American, Canadian and local moving, insurance and restoration companies.

Among the company's clients, are the Consul General of the United States, the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. As well, the company has done repairs and restorations for the presidents of major national and international corporations, entertainment, political and media celebrities and many large corporations in Vancouver.

In 1998, The Craftsman's Touch was selected to restore the official provincial antique collection at British Columbia Government House in Victoria, the first---and only---company to be so honoured. Restoration was completed in 1999, to the delight of the Lieutenant Governor, his wife and the entire staff of Government House. About Basil Pappas

Mr. Pappas is a second generation European craftsman, and the owner and founder of The Craftsman's Touch. In the past twenty years, he has established the well-known nation wide pre-eminent antique restoration and repair company The Craftsmanís Touch located in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Mr. Pappas' specialties are invisible antique repairs, hand carving and matching of missing elements, expert colour matching and French polishing.

Mr. Pappas holds annual restoration and finishing workshops, has taught his restoration skills at VanTech College as well as in sold-out classes offered through the Vancouver School Board and North Shore Continuing Education. He has appeared and demonstrated his skills on The Life Television Network in Toronto, and has been a call-in expert on The Rafe Mair Show on CKNW Radio and The Dave Abbott Show on AM-1040 Radio.
